There are many treatment and recovery support services available through the State Opioid Response (SOR) grant and SOR partners. These services include free Naloxone, MAT/MOUD locations, Peer Support, and more. Click the links below to find resources available to both providers and patients.
A Dose of Reality
A Dose of Reality provides resources and support for those seeking treatment or supporting their loved ones in treatment as well as providers who are considering starting treatment using Medications for Opioid Use Disorder. The website also offers training and information on naloxone to help prevent opioid overdose.

A Dose of Wellness is a campaign to promote mental and physical well-being. This website offers positive tools and informational resources to help New Mexicans improve their health.
New Mexico Crisis and Access Line
The New Mexico Crisis and Access Line (NMCAL) is a statewide mental health crisis line. Please call 1-855-NMCRISIS (662-7474) to speak with a supportive and trained individual about suicidal thoughts, substance use, grief, anxiety, or other issues related to mental and emotional health. It also includes a warm peer line to call for someone to talk with for support.
NMConnect App
The NMConnect App can help you or a loved one immediate access to mental health professionals and resources – this is a good option for those who prefer to text or talk. Services include the ability to be directly connected to a peer support worker.

Connections for Recovery App
The New Mexico for Recovery Initiative includes the Connections app, a component of the eRecovery solution from CHESS Health. Costs are covered by the New Mexico Health Care Authority (BHSD). There are no costs to providers or patients.
The Connections app is an evidence-based smartphone app that helps individuals adhere to their treatment plan and stay in recovery by reducing isolation, building critical connections, developing coping skills, celebrating successes, and averting crises. The app is staffed 24/7 by certified peer recovery specialists. The platform also includes CBT for Recovery programs.

Open Beds
The New Mexico Department of Human Services’ Behavioral Health Services Division has partnered with OpenBeds to launch the New Mexico Behavioral Health Referral Network. Those seeking mental health and substance use disorder treatment for themselves or others can leverage the tools and inventory of the state referral network and anonymously evaluate the type of care they need, search for appropriate, nearby providers, and then submit confidential online referral inquiries to state-vetted treatment providers.
