(1hr) Modifying our approach to better manage patients using this new challenging formulation of street fentanyl

About the Presenter

Eric Ketcham MD, MBA, FACEP, FASAM, FACHE, FAAEM is board-certified in emergency medicine (ABEM) and addiction medicine (ABPM). He is co-founder and past chair of the Pain Management and Addiction Medicine Section of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP). He works primarily for the Presbyterian Healthcare System (PHS), half-time as an emergency medicine physician, and half-time as an addiction medicine specialist (outpatient clinic and hospital consults – ICU, Med/Surg, L&D, ED, etc.).  He was the co-chair for the development of the ACEP/AAAP X-waiver course. He has been initiating buprenorphine in the ED since 2011.
