Course Description
(1hr) Modifying our approach to better manage patients using this new challenging formulation of street fentanyl

About the Presenter

Eric Ketcham MD, MBA, FACEP, FASAM, FACHE, FAAEM is board certified in emergency medicine (ABEM) and addiction medicine (ABPM). He is co-founder and past chair of the Pain Management and Addiction Medicine Section of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP). He works primarily for the Presbyterian Healthcare System (PHS), half-time as an emergency medicine physician, and half-time as an addiction medicine specialist (outpatient clinic and hospital consults – ICU, Med/Surg, L&D, ED, etc.).  He was the co-chair for the development of the ACEP/AAAP X-waiver course. He has been initiating buprenorphine in the ED since 2011.
